<p>So I'm applying to Rutgers University SAS-NB and the School of Engineering. My stats are below and let me know if you think I have a chance. I attend an international American School and therefore would be applying as OOS. Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>Race: Asian Indian</p>

<p>Full IB Diploma
3 Higher Levels / 3 Standard Levels
Bio/Psych/Comp Sci --- Spanish/Math/English</p>

<p>Cumulative GPA (not including 12th grade) : 2.96 (unweighted)
SAT Score : CR - 540 Math - 670 Writing - 580 : 1790 (CR+M+W) / 1210 (CR+M)</p>

<p>Class Rank : None</p>

<p>EC's:
President of Community Empowerment Team (3 years) Made over 5,000 USD and integrated the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) program in two local schools. (This is what my essay is about).
Varsity Basketball (2 years)
SaveTheChildren: Science (1 year)
Model United Nations (3 years)
Flash Theatre (2 years)</p>

<p>Essay:
Can't really judge but would say it's very good.</p>

<p>Also if it counts, my mother graduated from Rutgers. If it of importance, I lived in NJ for the first 10 years of my life (US Citizen) and own a house there so from the second year onwards I'd be under in-state tuition. </p>

<p>If you need any more information, feel free to ask, please let me know, I'm a bit anxious as I would love to attend Rutgers University as the class of 2017. </p>

<p>Your IB diploma is impressive, but your stats overall seem kind of low especially your GPA. You might want to try Newark campus as well. It’s less competitive than NB.</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance to SAS since your work load was rigorous. IB courses are not easy and maybe that is why your GPA is low.</p>

<p>90% sure your in, only reason im not a 100% sure is that rutgers cares a lot about gpa</p>

<p>Thanks for the replies. Another question I had is I applied on Nov. 29th, and all the materials (SRAR/SAT) were given on the 11th of December. When do you think I’ll know my decision by?</p>
