<p>This sucks. I was in honors roll 1st quarter and high honors roll 2nd quarter. 3rd quarter I haven't got a SINGLE 90+ on ANY test. ALL BECAUSE OF STUPID MISTAKES. We're almost at the half way mark for 3rd quarter and I gurantee this quarter is going to ruin my 11th grade year.</p>
<p>What can I do?</p>
<p>Try to make sure your final grades on your transcripts are at least 80 or above in all subjects. I don’t think it really matters if you don’t get honor roll one marking period. Try to get the best grades you can while in challenging classes, but if you don’t think you will get an overall grade is 80 or above, switch down to a lower level class. I know from experience.</p>

<p>Be more careful on tests. “Stupid mistakes” matter a lot. I’m a structural engineer. If I even make an addition mistake, it could mean I show a beam size too small. People could literally die from my stupid mistakes, if a balcony or something collapsed.</p>

If you know how to find the answers, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t be able to get an A on a test. If you can’t understand the material, ask for help.</p>
<p>I’m usually the last person to leave the room, but I usually get 95% or greater on my tests… just goes to show that you shouldn’t rush and should check your work.</p>
