Rules during SAT testing/breaks?

I figured I'd give it a shot to ask here, since I don't know anyone in high school to ask personally...I'm a bit older than the average test taker.

I'm scheduled for the June SAT and was wondering what items would be considered OK to bring. I was thinking of bringing a naglene bottle of coffee to sip during breaks. Would this be off limits? How about a water? Did you carry in all you needed items (pencils, calc, water, etc) in a backpack?

From my understanding of CB I positively cannot bring my cell phone (even if left off). I want to make sure this is correct as not to risk anything.

During the (very short) breaks can you step off the school premises?

I don’t believe you can step off the school’s premises during breaks - you are only permitted to use the restrooms or eat some food or whatever.

If you’re bringing a lot of pencils and snacks, bring a backpack so that it’s more convenient for you to carry stuff around.

It would be fine (I believe) to bring some coffee and water, so long as you only drink from them during the breaks.

Thanks for the quick reply. It is much appreciated.
