i am currently a history education major, i'm a night student and work full time during the day. i had been substitute teaching and now i'm thinking i don't want to do the teacher thing so much anymore, but here's the catch- i already switched from a geophysics major to history education because i didn't want to devote my life to researching petrolium after all, surprise surprise. if i change to just a straight up history major what kind of options career wise would i have? i am very passionate about history and know i'd like to stick with it, i wouldn't mind teaching at a college level but it seems to do that you have to teach elementary, middle or secondary level as well (which, as i said, i don't like). should i just run away to ireland and open a pub?
