Run out of time on ACT. Need Help.

How do you guys manage to finish the entire test in the time allotted? I have time-management trouble especially on the science and reading tests - the others are fine. Do you read the passage or skim it first then answer the questions? For science: do you look at the tables then the experiement explanation? Please tell me how to optimize my performance. Thanks.

Reading: Read the entire passage. Obviously you're going to have to read quickly, but remember you're only reading for the themes, and if the passage is presented in a step-by-step way, note its organization. With this, you should be able to get most of the questions. And for the specific ones, you will know about where in the passage to look back.

Science: If you have taken a broad range of science classes, you should be able to get by just skimming the introductory material (for variables and constants). But if you have no idea what's happening in the experiments, look at the data tables and try to figure out what's going on, and then skim the passage.

You just have to be really agressive on these sections, and not let your mind wander.

the science test is a rush. Heres my advice. Dont read every damm thing they give you. scan it and see what each is all about. Then go look at the questions to see what info you need. Then go read the relevant sections

ok, thanks everyone.
