<p>Hey,
Just curious for any of you who are a member of any of the Cross-Country and Track teams at BU.
How are they? Is the team fun? How is the coach?</p>
<p>and I am curious of my chances of running for the team, I am a junior and have ran a 2:05 800 this year. </p>
<p>Thanks for all your help.</p>
<p>I don’t know if you’ll get any responses because this is a pretty specific question. I know nothing about cross country at BU.</p>
<p>[Here’s</a> the track webpage.](<a href=“http://www.goterriers.com/sports/m-track/bost-m-track-body.html]Here’s”>http://www.goterriers.com/sports/m-track/bost-m-track-body.html) </p>
<p>You’re only a junior and it’s hard to extrapolate but you’ll need to be in the 1:50’s to be competitive at this level. Their top time this season is under 1:51. </p>
<p>[Here’s</a> the schedule.](<a href=“http://www.goterriers.com/sports/m-track/sched/bost-m-track-sched.html]Here’s”>http://www.goterriers.com/sports/m-track/sched/bost-m-track-sched.html) You see that BU mostly competes in big meets with big schools.</p>
<p>hey,
im attending BU in the fall, and I’ll be walking on to the track team. I live overseas, so I couldn’t really meet with coaches or be recruited easily, so what I did was just look up the coach’s email address in the athletic directories. on most collegiate athletic sites you’ll be able to find the directory, so just copy nd paste the email addresses given, and send them a quick email. DONT write an essay, they dont have time for that; just write a short email saying your times and just that you’re interested.
hope to be your teammate someday!</p>
