I’m running for the treasurer, and i have to write a speech. however, it’s my first time to running for school council, and i dont know what to do. What i suppose to write in my speech?
Basically, you’re telling people 1. why you would be the best candidate for treasurer (what experience do you have with leadership, handling money, organization, etc.?) and 2. what you plan to do as treasurer if you have any ideas. You want to show them that you care about your role; are accessible and open to students’ feedback and ideas; and will do your best to benefit the student body. You can always Google search example speeches.
