Hello:
I would very much appreciate hearing any Running Start alumni experiences if you enrolled at the University of Washington after high school. My main questions are: What was your class standing? Did the courses you expected to transfer actually do so? and, When was your transfer credit evaluation finalized?
Thank you in advance and feel free to add anything you think is relevant in addition to the questions!
I don’t know how it is specifically at UW, but you need to know this…
Apply to your schools as an incoming freshman …NOT a transfer student. You are not a transfer student even if you come in with an AA thru Running Start.
Are you coming in with an AA? If so, then you’ll have “junior standing”, even tho you’re coming in as an “incoming freshman.”
Thank you. It’s the same at UW (I applied as a freshman). I won’t ended up taking a diversity course (so no AA), but I will have 110 credits of college coursework. I know UW should take 90 of those credits and I’ve talked with advisers at the university to make sure I have been taking transferable classes.
