I'm a full-time Running Start student and will graduate with my AA this spring (I currently have 85 credits, with only 90 necessary to graduate). I've been accepted to the UW, and when I load my unofficial transcript, it states that I'm a member of the junior class, rather than the freshman class. Does this mean that UW will accept my AA outright, or must my credits be reviewed by the registrar?

....bump.....

I think you are accepted outright as a junior status. The only problem will be if you change majors. Meaning you took a bunch of science/math for science degree but switch to a business degree or social science degree, then some of those credits will be electives and you will have to take whatever is required for the new choice (business school comes to mind as an example). Hope that makes sense...I just remember overhearing a conversation my parents had about this so make sure you check it out yourself.

Thank you for answering. Do you know whether I'd still be eligible to take honors program classes? That is, if I were admitted.

Does anyone know anything more about this?

Call the admissions office...they should be able to answer your honors question.
