Interesting, this is forming a curve with two peaks.

^yes, but, at the same time, it is almost normal.

Anyone want to put this data in the graphing calculator and graph a probability plot just to see how normal it is?

Last time I ran the mile seriously was in 8th grade, got 6:30. Seems like everyone runs it in middle school but no one does in high school. I’m not sure what my time would be now, I can’t tell if I’m in better or worse shape.

I mean yeah I guess running a 7 min mile is not considered out of shape, but if you take a look at my stomach you would think otherwise haha

@Longuylind he didn’t have the national high school record. National sophomore record, but not HS record. It’s a 2:22.28, just saying.

I know, i wrote NR as in this year, not AT.

5:36, 21 second PR today!

spent the winter doing indoor track as a sprinter. Mile time went up 30 seconds. makes me sorta wish I had done long distance track and xc in the past four years and got decent at it.

Trying to break a seven minute mile. Best mile time: 7:10. Only off by ten seconds! I really just like to run for fun, though. I only worry about times during meets… and then not even then. Just not competitive with running. I just like the feel of an elevated heart beat and my lungs burning and my legs carrying me as far as I can manage them.

I wonder how SAT coorelates with mile time, if there is any

I don’t see any reason for a correlation.

I don’t either

^^^ that’s when a hobby crosses the line to obsession…

Definitely a sprinter not a distance runner.

I don’t know what the +'s are for, but i run a 5:50 minute-6 minute 15 second mile. depends on how i’m feeling that day.
