Hey!!
I rush reported my SAT scores and placed an order on Oct 22nd 2015. My order is still pending and I’m applying early decision to a school for an app due Nov 1st. Will it arrive in time?!
My son is in the same boat, we called CB last night and they said they are well aware of the Nov 1 deadline and are trying their best to get scores out by Fri but can’t guarantee anything… but they will process rush scores first… due to it taking longer than the stated 2 days they will refund your 31$… fingers crossed that these scores will go out. Sons guidance officer said to email your admissions rep if they are not out by Fri an explain what is going on…
This is really disappointing of CB to do to everyone without any communication on their part to us all…
I was worrying about the same thing, but it seems CB has now sent the October scores. You should check again. And I didn’t use rush report.
In the same boat. CB just called me after I emailed them yesterday. They said that they were going to contact the schools I rushed and send them an official PDF of my scores, and then try to send my actual things. Better than nothing, but the SAT and the ACT are both sorry sacks of excuses.
My son is in the same boat, CB sent us an email saying:
Dear Student,
Processing of rush SAT® score report orders placed on or after Oct. 15, 2015, is taking longer than expected, and your scores are among a set that have not yet been sent to universities. We will deliver score reports as soon as possible. For colleges that allow self-reporting on their applications, you can view your scores online and report them directly.
We are reaching out to colleges with early action/early decision deadlines of Nov. 1 to make them aware of the situation, and we are encouraging them be flexible should scores arrive late.
If you ordered your score reports for rush delivery on or after Oct. 15, you will receive a refund of the $31 fee if your order was not fulfilled within two business days from the time your order was placed. Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your credit card or PayPal account.
We recognize the importance of timely score delivery and apologize for the inconvenience.
The College Board
My son forwarded this email to the admissions rep… just hoping that it will suffice? I called earlier and an admissions rep said to try and get a batch number from college board?? an that would insure we would be ok??
Actually We (just this minute) received confirmation that they sent the scores!! We rushed on Oct 25th so yours prob should be sent late today too if they are going by date…
CB website confirms they sent my scores today! Whoopee!
Wow, so a Rush order placed on Oct. 22 wasn’t completed until Oct. 27? That is bad. I am still waiting on a regular order placed Oct. 22 to be completed.
OMG yesterday my sons said sent and today it says pending… i called cb and the sent was a glitch in their system… they have not been sent!!! check again everyone!!!
same with me im so worried man i sent regular on oct 22nd

Before panicking, check with college to see if there is any reason to. There are a small number of colleges, such as UMich and Drexel, that insist that scores be in their hands by Nov 1 for the early program. However, most, inlcuding the ivies, MIT, Stanford, Carnegoe Mellon, and Duke, accept scores that arrive up to a week or two after Nov 1, and many even accept the Nov SAT test. Colleges that have the strict rule tell you on their sites. Others are sometimes not clear but if they say they take the Oct ACT then any scores can arrive after Nov 1 because those ACT will not even be released by Nov 1.
The RUSH SATs are all in… CB told me even if your account says still pending its ok they were sent out this morning I called UMD an they checked my sons account and YES THEY ARE IN! Sons portal at UMD still says not submitted it takes a while … BUT for everyone that sent them rush they are in!!! CB said they are working on the rest and he thinks they WILL get EVERYONE IN BY TONIGHT…
Got off the phone at 4:45 EDT with CollegeBoard who said scores ordered Oct 22 had been sent. Just prior to that call I was on with Indiana Univ, who said no scores had been received, and that they had a firm Nov. 1 deadline. Checked account after getting off phone with CB, and scores still say “pending.”
