Hey, I didn’t realize when taking the test the importance of sending scores. Now, with it being Nov. 1, I am finding out I was supposed to send an official score report via collegeboard. Do I need to send a rush report? HELP!

definitely send rush. they charge you a fortune, but Brown does accept rush scores (they told me that when I frantically e-mailed last week). hopefully they won't count it against you. do it ASAP! ugh, I know how annoying it is to deal with all that. of course, college board gives you a very narrow window of time to send scores free and if you take the test as a junior, it is easy to forget. good luck with everything.

i just rushed my score like...10 min ago. LOL so many of us are in the same situation

I sent my October SAT scores directly to Brown. Do I have to send all of my other scores too or will all of my scores get sent with the October ones?

wait... you have to rush your october test score?! but I thought brown accepts even the Nov. one!

trentkorn4 -- All available scores go with any SAT score report.

taffyluchia -- I doubt you have to rush the October score. You could always call and ask.

elweezer -- Just curious -- How could you not know the importance of sending scores? The application requirements are all spelled out.

Oh well, folks, try not to panic. If they are missing your test scores when time comes to review your file, they will let you know. For my daughter, one of her recommendations was missing. She saw this on the web site and arranged for a duplicate to be sent. Problem solved (and she's currently at Brown, so the late recommendation didn't doom her application). A couple other schools were missing her ACT scores, even though they had been requested -- they let us know and the scores were resent. Again, no problem.

I think it is better to just call any school and find out the requirements rather than panicking among yourselves on CC :)
