Rush Week - Better to go alone or with a group of friends?

Hey, not all of my friends will exactly be rushing the frats that I'm rushing....probably only like 2-3 of them.

Would it be better for me if I were to rush all by myself? Or would it make me look more social if I were to go with a group of friends?

What will the frats think either way?

i think they wont care either way, especially by the end of the week, a lot of kids go to places alone. i went with a group of friends and wed hit the places we all liked all together the first day so we could get a broad feel for all of the houses. then by the end of the week each individual would spend more time at the places they liked and sometimes would stay later than a friend who was less interested, or wouldnt go to a particular frat at all. i would start off by going to a lot though. but frats wont care if you are in a group.

i heard sometimes frats like to take the entire package, and i heard FIJI took a pledge class a few years ago where everyone in that class were already friends with each other

so is going alone common? would it make you seem like an unsocial loser?

an unsocial loser? lol you'll be fine either way

everyone starts rush week going out with a group of friends the first two days. you check out a BUNCH of houses and you will each like different ones and you will like some of the same ones. by thursday, if you all like the same houses thats great and you might be offered a "package deal" thing at one house. a lot of times you guys end up liking different houses and you will start visiting the ones you prefer and hopefully get a bid there. it all works out, dont worry, group of no group you'll be fine.
