Rushing Fraternities at Vanderbilt/UVa as a sophomore transfer

what's up guys. I'm currently a freshman at a small college that I attended to play football. Halfway through the season, I realized that the school wasn't the place I wanted to spend the next four years of my life (boring as hell) and that I wanted to get a more prestigious education for a future career. I've been admitted to both Vandy and UVa as a sophomore transfer for the fall semester. I haven't decided between the two universities, but I definitely plan on rushing fraternities wherever I go.

My questions are:

1) Is it any more difficult to receive fraternity bids as a sophomore transfer? I know I wouldn't have any problem rushing as a freshman, but I dont know anyone at either school yet.
2) Is there any difference between Vandy and UVa in this regard?
3) If its more difficult at either school, is there anything I can do to help myself?

Thanks in advance.

At vanderbilt, it is harder but you can still get in. Remember, once people turn 21 ppl start going to bars in Nashville so you have an awesome city life at your doorstep.

Any advice how I could help my chances?

Just shake hands and be social

You can have a great time in Nashville regardless, women are beautiful and friendly
