Rushing SAT scores

But Penn specifically told me that the ONLY way the November scores will make it in time for ED consideration will be if the scores are rushed.

yeah, they have to be rushed for ED.

and we're not sure how to make sure they are rushed...on time.

Exactly...

You can probably use the earliest release date, the call in/log in pay-per-view and expedite your score then. Don't wait for the regular release date. If you need further explanation you can phone College Board or e-mail them.

for ppl taking the oct 22 act, those scores will probably have to be rushed too, right?

Test: October 8, 9 Online: October 24 Mailed: November 4

Tonight my dad went to a seminar at Penn.

They said (AND THE DEAN WAS RIGHT THERE) that the October SATs don't need to be rushed, but the Nov do.

You call Collegeboard with a credit card ready to arrange it.

Good info, thanks for sharing. Good luck in your application.

Rushing scores is "Flat Rate", meaning if you selected 100 colleges on your list and choose the rush option, it's still a 26$ addition. Yes, you can rush your score online. It's somewhere on the CB "score report" webpages.

I'd recommend emailing your scores to college (and be honest) and ask them to include your email in your file in case they have not received your scores officially.

They did ask me (in an email) to have my school faxed and mailed a copy of my scores (signed and sealed by the registrar), so you can also do that using an online score printout in case the official scores don't arrive on time.

each? or total?

you said flat rate, which would mean your total cost for 100 reports...

$26 for 100 score reports seems unlikely?

Someone, let me know since I'll need the Rush service this year.

Is rushing scores online/computer the same as doing in over the phone? If I rush my scores as soon as they appear from the Nov. sitting (through the internet), Penn will receive them on time?

i'm glad that so many to-be ivy leaguers cannot figure out how to rush scores to colleges.

i have nothing constructive to add.

in that 100 case u should ask the collegeboard.

anyone know if u have to rush oct 22 ACT scores?
