If one needs to take an SATII on November 5 to complete their ED application to Cornell, do the scores need to be rushed to Cornell?

If so, is it possible to set up rushing the scores before the scores are available?

no worries about rushing scores, it's easy. But yes, you should DEF rush if you take a Nov 5 SATII.

Why is it that for EA at Yale they say its not necessary to rush Nov SAT's?

dunno, you should ask in the yale forum ;)..but you should always invest the 26$ to rush the scores.. collegeboard is notorious for sending scores late

soem schools dont accept rush scores btw

i need to rush scores then too.... i dont see an option on collegeboard's website... what do i do to rush em?

bcd: u need to call the specific college that is going to be reviewing ur application. I called the main undergraduate admissions and they said rush scores. then i asked cals and they said rushing was not necessary. so the best answer is a direct one and i would call cornell.

BlueDevilBBall: if you click on send scores and after choosing ur college, the last page will ask if u want to rush scores for an added $26 dollars. the option is there, just look for it.

can we only choose to rush scores after the score is up?? i dont see how we can choose to rush score b4 the scores is out

according to more than one school we have looked at, they DO NOT want rush scroes because they arrive on paper. REgular scores arrive electronically and are easier for them to access. Your scores on paper are easy to lose, hard to file, etc.

i've personally heard the a representative from cornell say "do not rush scores" (for the november test)

So, do we rush or not?

no, DO NOT rush scores. I was up at Cornell this past weekend, and I asked one of the admissions people if I should rush my Oct. 22nd ACT scores, and she said definatly not, there is not point, and that it is more of an inconvinient for them because it isn't done electronically

alij1988, we're talking about the november5 sat, not the oct22 ACT.

No Do Not Rush Scores. Adcom For Nyc Told Me Its Not Necessary For November Scores Too. Do It Regularly. It Will Be In On Time.

I Like To Start My Words With Capital Letters Too.

So the concensus seems to be ULTIMATELY that it doesn't matter. You should be fine if you do not rush, but if you are going to freak out, then rush and get some sleep at night ;).
