Rushing Scores

Hey all, I've got a question regarding rushing scores. I am a transfer student and my application deadline is the upcoming March 15th. I assumed sending SAT scores were just like send out transcrpits in that you request them sent out and within a week they would arrive at the intended schools. So, last night I intended to send them out and found out that it takes 3 - 5 weeks to send scores out!! I had no other choice but to rush the scores in order to get them there before march 15th, which is exactly what I did. Is there any problem in doing this? I know it says you should contact the schools first, but if you think about it I really did not have any other options. I need these scores there before March 15th.

There may be a problem. Many colleges do not accept rush scores and that is why you needed to check first. Also, it usually does not take as long as they say for sending regular delivery. Finally, one other thing to check with colleges to which you are applying is whether that March 15 date is the deadline date for getting everything in -- often colleges accept things, such as official test scores, after the application deadline date.
