hey people,
have anyone heard about Russian Ap test being available starting in spring 2005? because i was surfin' collegeboard.com and this advertisement was out...so i was wondering if anyong heard any additional information on it...i would really like to take it since my family speaks russian and i know it very fluently and it would be nice to get a language credit for it ....so please if anyone knows anything about it please share :O)

AP Russian does not exist nor will it exist anytime soon. The only new languages being added to the lineup are Chinese, Italian, and Japanese Languages and Literatures.

I want AP Ancient Greek!!!

That's why they have Latin.

oh sorry i ment spring 2006....nevertheless it is strange for collegeboard to list all 2006 new language tests along with russian even though russian wont actually exist...im also looking at the AP testing schedule of 2006 on collegeboard right not and Russian AP is scheduled to be given as an afternoon session test may 10th....hm..

saying "That's why they have Latin" is like saying that AP french lit should be the only language AP, or that AP Bio should be the only science one. They are entirely different subjects.

there is an AP Russian...we have it at my school (pilot program)

AP Russian will only be implemented if the AP Board decided it will work. Details are on AP Central.

There will definitely be an AP Russian and Italian next year, Chinese and Japanese coming in 2007. In fact, Russian is scheduled for May 10, 2006. This is straight from the College Board.

I wish they had an AP for lower maths besides calc, like Alg II. Man I would pwn that.

they should have a mythology ap exam!!

Damn one year too late haha

I seriously doubt that...unless you get consistent 800's on the SAT.
