Hi,
I’m trying to come up with ideas for the Rutgers application essay (the topic is: Please reflect on what you consider to be an important personal experience related to your talents, interests, or commitments. Using this experience, please tell us what you learned about yourself. How will this experience prepare you for success at Rutgers?). I’m interested in science and I want to apply to SAS and I am strongly considering the genetics major. I also am considering applying to the Pharmacy school and the Business school. The only idea for the essay that I have so far is to write about the trip that my class took to a DNA lab because that sparked my interest in genetics, but I’m afraid that it’s a bad idea to be so specific - will it look bad to the Pharmacy and Business schools? I would really appreciate some advice!
