Does anyone know much about this? How many people generally make it in? I'm worried because I have a low gpa (3.4, top 12% in very competitive school), decent SATs (2220/2400, 1430/1600), and very solid ECs, and I am a URM (which I have no idea if that helps for admissions here). I have the interview/writing sample in mid March, so I was wondering if anyone has more info. Thanks.

haha i have that tomorrow

Yeah, I wonder how many kids will actually be there.

I know someone in SEBS honors and she said her hp class is prob around 30 people or so. pretty small, and under the assumption that small = competitive, then sebs honors is pretty competitive. but then again, i don’t know how many people apply or are even offered.

and your sats are better than decent.

Ha, it was kind of fun I guess. I wonder if I saw any ccers there?

Chronic

My D and I were there today! She had jeans and a green top. When did you do group interview?

We were actually really impressed with Cook Campus. She is going into Marine Sciences and we went to the Marine Science Bldg after it was over and a random student started talking to us and took us all through the bldg and showed us all the research labs. It was quite good.

Hey, I was quite impressed as well. It is definitely a place I can see myself at with the current economic problems, and it seemed like there was a very smart group there. I honestly have a terrible memory, and I barely remember what anybody wore, but I probably saw both of you there! I was the tall kid with a blue sweater/dress shirt who had a group interview at 1:20 with Bastardo and someone else.

Wait, I am trying to remember. Were ewe on the same tour? Were your Mom and Dad both there? Was your tour guide the guy who used to be a Marine Science major and now is poli/sci?

Did they give any information about transfers who got into honors?

My father was the only one there and that doesn’t sound like the tour guide that I had :(

OK, it is all a blur to me too! LOL!!!

Zircushio

Sorry, they didn’t mention that at all.

Chronic

Now I remember when I saw you. I was sitting in the hallway in one of the comfy chairs waiting for my daughter to get done interviewing and you walked by me. You are tall!

Yes, I am quite tall :). I probably would recognize both of you if I saw again, but oh well.

any of you guys remember a tall Indian kid with a short hair cut, blue tie and dress shirt?

Sorry Dan, I can’t remember specifically.

haha whatever…do you know when we get notified if we got in or not

My Daughter got a letter today telling her that she got in to the SEBS Honors program. They only accept 25 students so it is something to think about. She has a guaranteed transfer to Cornell so she might do her first year at Rutgers.

I got my letter today as well saying that I was accepted to SEBS honors. However, I was also accepted to Cornell, so I will be attending there :).

hey i decided to enroll in the honors program at sebs
anyone else doing it? is there any specific place we’re supposed to live or can it be anywhere?
