Rutgers Business School chances from CC?

<p>Hey all, I was planning on applying to Rutgers as a transfer for the fall. From RVCC I have 31 credits with a 3.46. I also have 9 credits from a prior community college. I'd like to apply to New Brunswick and Newark's business schools and maybe nb SAS. I was hoping for at least Rutgers Newark, I know NB might be a long shot. I did TERRIBLE in hs, and I'm latino if any of that matters. I want to be an accountant.</p>

<p>Do I have a decent shot? I'm wondering if I should try now or if I should just wait to apply for spring next year instead, or maybe just look at other schools altogether.</p>

<p>Would my major choices make a difference? Would I have a better chance if I put business-undecided instead of accounting?</p>

<p>As a fellow minority (as if it matters) I did horribly in HS as well, went to community college where I did horribly as well in the beginning. Long story short, I ended up completing my AA at CC and applying to RBS on both campuses back in '10 with a 3.3 and I was accepted to both. Im currently starting my last semester at RBS and have a 3.632. I said that to say that Ive been in your shoes and I think that you will get in. However, I would consider staying put at the CC for a semester or two to get as many gen eds out of the way as possible.</p>
