Rutgers Business School Question

I was accepted as a transfer to RBS for Fall 2015. However, one course that I am missing is required in order to declare a major in RBS, I am missing one of the six Pre-Business courses, Intro to Statistics for Business.

Therefore, I will probably take Intro to Statistics for Business during the Fall 2015 but I can ONLY take other “Intro Business Core Classes” and declare my major later in the semester.

My question is, what are these other “Intro Business Core Classes?” Are these the “Core Courses” listed under the “Pre-Business Courses” listed on the RBS website?

Sorry for the incredibly specific question, I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on this.

This course is offered in the summer (May-July) 2 nights a week. Could you do this?

01:960:285 INTRODUCTORY STATISTICS FOR BUSINESS 3 credit(s)

The thing is, I live 2-3 hours away from New Brunswick. Do you think housing there and taking one course for <1 month is worth it and a good idea? I think it would be a waste because its only one course and I live 2 hours away, but whats your opinion?

It looks like there are ‘pre-business courses’ and ‘core courses’. I am not sure what you mean. It is probably best to talk to someone at RBS and clear this up.

It seems like you could wait a semester to declare your major. This is only a GUESS as my son’s RBS program had different requirements.
