Hi guys .My son last week was admitted to the Rutgers undergraduate business school at New Brunswick with stats if u r curious SAT 1710(Old) ACT 25 and GPA 3.8 . Very good essay and so on and on. We are happy. No money rewards. I kind new that. Financial Aid will be $34k everything it will cost me (dorm,food,books…) is state resident. I find link where you can check your financial aid. D declined admission offer for SAS and Engineering so hopefully that frees it up for someone else!
@Hasanh -Did you call, visit or email the admissions department prior to being accepted?

@Hasanh I’m still on the waitlist, but I’m waiting for SAS, so it’ll take a while. But with everyone getting accepted to other RU schools I’m sure SAS will open up lots of seats, so fingers crossed here!!!

is it possible/common to be denied from SAS but accepted to SEBS? this is my current situation…
I got into newark but i’m on the wait list for nb arts and sciences. Are they going to get back to me before the candidate reply date or after? Also, does this put me at a disadvantage for housing?
@12345college Some people have already heard back so it could be before or after the candidate reply date. As for housing, I think you will still find housing but might be a disadvantage as to where on campus it might be.
Also, if you’re waiting for SAS I don’t think anyone from the waitlist has said if they’ve been accepted yet.

Just because they didn’t last year doesn’t mean they won’t this year. We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess. People were taken off the waitlist last year.
Congratulations @2coo4skoo!! I am from NJ and sooo often we hear how nobody from OOS wants to come to Ruters or NJ and would love to hear your thoughts. What do you love about Rutgers? What are you most excited about?! 
@brokebrowngirl oh idk that’s what my friend told me bc she talked to admissions. Just read they take about 30% from the waitlist.
I wish Rutgers had a way where you could accept or decline to stay on there waitlist. Cause I’m sure people who aren’t even thinking of going to Rutgers are on there. If they accept 30% not all 30% will go so then they’ll go back to the waitlist, I’m guessing. You guys get what I’m saying
