I just found out that Rutgers was ranked among the 20 most unsightly campus ... is that true? does anybody have a different opinion?

I've only visited the campus once, but I can say that the sight is....ehhh....decent. It certainly isn't "Princeton" nor "University of Virginia", but it's decent depending on the campus.

If you are looking for a campus with lush green grass, gothic-like architecture, and blossoming flowers, I'd say look somewhere else.

The only thing closest to that type of description is Voorhees Mall on the College Avenue Campus at Rutgers New Brunswick. Douglass/Cook Campus isn't half that bad either. The campuses look definitely better in the Spring with the leaves and colors and what not.

I don't think it is really unsightly. What college was #1????

SUNY albany... I visited the university few years ago and actually thought it was big and nice... lol
