Does anyone know exactly how Rutgers does admissions?

Is anyone as excited as I am! Lol I’m ready to meet new people! I can’t wait until they send out the invites to “Go Rutgers”. If anyone would like to chat please hmu :)

^^^ i just got back from spending the night at RU and trust me i am now more excited than ever to go haha

I applied in late october but still havent heard back. i got into newark but the new brunswick is still in process. i got a low gpa-3.0859 but a high weighted 4.4. Also my SAT score is 2010 and I have taken 16 honors classes and am instate. Am I most likely gonna be rejected? And has anyone from October not heard back?

A lot of people with high (good stats) and with low (average to below average) stats who applied Early Action (before Oct 31st), still havent received word from New Brunswick. Most have received acceptance from newark campuses, but nothing from NB. Most definitely, im sure everyone will hear back by mid december, latest January.

@decillion ive paid the 65 dollars, and ive also called them and the admissions office told me i had everything -_-

@gottagettadegree im a new jersey resident and i havent heard back

Applied Dec 1, accepted Dec 4—I technically applied on Oct 30, but I applied then with the EOF application, and on Nov 29 I withdrew my EOF app and had to pay the $65 fee, which they got by Dec 1…I’m guessing that had to do with why it took a while.

What are the chances of me getting accepted? I’m confident that I will get in, but I’d like other opinions. Also, did any of you that applied on Dec. 1 receive your decisions yet? THANKS!

@theimpatientone I think engineering takes the longest. I heard back from them 2 weeks after I was admitted into the other schools in rutgers. And if you did get into pharmacy you’ll definetly get into engineering.

I am also still waiting for an acceptance into the pharmacy program, which i really hope to get into since it is my first choice.
