Nope, My status is still the same
GOT INTO RBS WOOOOO FINALLY
mine is still in process. ughhh this is giving me an anxiety. I really want to know my status.
@sahilp3
is it okay to ask what was your SAT/ACT score and GPA was?
@calaca in my senior year (dec 2018) i applied to rutgers newark SAS and rutgers nb SOE
i got accepted into newark SAS like 5 days after i applied but didnt hear back from nb SOE until 3 months later (applied nov 29-30 and got waitlisted feb 26 then rejected june 14-15 2019).
unweighted GPA at time of application was 3.17 (yeah not exactly SOE material i know) and SAT was a little below 1300.
but i worked a lot harder throughout senior year since i was desperately trying to get accepted from the waitlist and as of my first semester of college, my gpa is 3.750 so hopefully that makes a difference
also does anyone know what time they usually update the status screens? i read somewhere that it’s 5AM and 11PM every weekday
.
some decisions come out at 1 a.m(my friend’s status page got updated at 1 a.m last time).
My son also got accepted before Christmas break in soe but he has not received any envelope in mail. Can you please tell what information is in the envelope or should I call admissions and request the envelope?
@engg2020 It was just a welcome package with a brochure, sticker, and a timeline for what to do next (accept offer of admission, register for accepted students day, etc).
Rutgers just announced the next wave of decision this morning (or late last night). My daughter got accepted to SAS New Brunswick
@enthusiast123 Congrats! My son is still in process
Did you daughter already get accepted to other schools in the last wave because I’ve been waiting to hear back from any of them and I haven’t gotten anything yet
DS accepted to SAS in Dec. Added RBS 3 weeks ago and found out this morning he was accepted as well. That was fast!
Think Rutgers lost my application because I’m still in process.
@arags same and I just emailed them asking about my decision date
Has anyone gotten rejected or deferred or wait-listed? I’m trying to figure out if it is a rolling type of admission (yes/no) as they review it, or they try to accept only the top first and keep so-so applicants toward the end.
@SM1996 You know I haven’t heard any rejections or deferred yet. I’m wondering if the last wave is when they reject and defer people. If so, I hope I’m not in there (even though I probably am)
In the 1st wave, she got accepted to SEBS and in the recent 2nd wave to SAS. Still waiting for the decision on SE possibly coming out in the 3rd wave.
Just got admitted into SAS New Brunswick. Congrats to everyone who was also admitted for the second wave! To anyone who is still waiting, there is another wave that should could come out around the 29th. Good luck and have confidence in yourselves!
