Do you still have a chance if one of your schools are in process
To those asking about merit scholarships the Rutgers admissions web site says this
Scholarship recipients are notified by email beginning in late February, and only those students who are selected to receive a merit-based award are notified.
So for those accepted we have a bit of a wait to find out the final cost of attendance and see if financially Rutgers makes sense to attend.
@lolwhatamidoing absolutely yes. It just means that specific school did not get through their applications. Now that they released a bunch this evening, I would not expect the next wave to occur until the last week of January.
Did anyone get Honors College? It doesn’t mention anything about it
Accepted to SAS
3.95 W
30 ACT
So happy!
@dumbinside congrats! i have a question: did it just update for you? or do you think this was from before?
i’m pretty sure it just updated i checked at 10pm and the status for New Brunswick was “in process”
My D sent in her app at the end of October and due to a snafu didn’t do her self reported grades thing until November 13th. They gave her a deadline of the 15th to still be considered EA.
1510 3.8 GPA OOS still haven’t back did apply on 10/31. I didn’t get my transcript in 11/13. Is this why I didn’t hear back? If not and doesn’t mean I’m gonna get denied? Someone please elaborate on this. Applied to SAS, EOB, and pharm.
Do I have a worse chance of getting in on the second wave?
^^^ someone touch on this if it is true they should warn us
I applied on 11/26 so I have no idea what order they’re reviewing applications in, but i’m sure with those stats there’s no way you’ll be rejected
@dumbinside thank you for the reply. I will keep my hope up that the second rounds brings some good news!
@jpp206 Sit tight and relax. Many times the different schools within Rutgers will not get to decisions by the first wave. Last year my son applied to SOE, SAS and RBS. He heard from SAS first in wave 1, SOE by 1/31, and by the time he heard from RBS he had declined Rutgers’ offers all together. So while it’s possible your application was delayed because of the transcript, it’s not unusual that it may not have been reviewed. The online status will tell you if anything is missing or needs attention. Good luck!
