So there won’t be any more decisions posted until after the holidays?
Really not sure just guessing from past experience a few years ago with my older son.
I was really hoping my daughter would hear before Christmas. Would have made a lovely gift! And she applied 10/31, so I thought it might be possible. Ah well, appears that patience is a virtue in applying to colleges, too.
I guess no news?!
I haven’t got my decision back yet, but I was wondering if I can send a email to the admissions, kind of like a LOCI, since I can’t update my application anymore. Could I possible send them a email about how I did XYZ and my grades have went up?
For the people who got rejected-- what schools are you applying to now?
so awkward i posted this in the wrong thread please ignore!!
I did something similar. I emailed the admin office and said that my Q1 grades are available and asked if they wanted to consider them with my app and they said yes so you probably could if its not too late in the admin process
Last year people updated their srar, but I’d email them first.
When did you send them the email asking if they wanted to consider your Q1 grades? I am considering doing this but don’t know if it’s too late.
Anyone know when we can expect the next wave of news? My daughter applied 10/31 and hasn’t heard anything.
I’ve been hearing that there’s two waves left so it has to be this week or next I’m thinking.
We are in same boat. Applied early October and nothing. Holy stress
Still waiting for two NB schools too, and applied in early October.
When my son applied to RBS - NB three years ago, we didn’t hear until the end of January and it was a “no”. (He got into RBS - Newark, went and is doing great).
I know Rutgers - NB is a stretch for my daughter, but if she’s not getting in, we’d rather know now than have to wait.
Has anyone received one of these yet?
No. Also, never a copy of an email with the acceptance. Their communication is really lacking.
So it won’t have a decision anouncment on the portal?
You can view the decision on the portal once it is posted. But there’s no formal letter uploaded to the portal as is done by most other colleges. All you see is a single word (example: “Admit”)
Your applicant should have received an email saying “you have been admitted to one or more schools” (something to that effect), a day after the decision was posted to their portal.
Last year, the first wave in the new year was on Jan 15th. So likely the same this year (probably Jan 14th).
