Ah didn’t realize this, I’ve had kids apply in 4 different years from 2013 - 2021.
Thanks everyone for your feedback on Rutgers. It reminded me so much of Univ. of Washington here in Seattle. So for those Jersey kids that are looking to escape, I recommend looking at UW(Washington).
D said she liked it (and is holding out hope for her reach school-AU) but I think she has a much better shot at finding her ‘people’ at Rutgers. Any insight on how to make it feel ‘smaller?’
Congrats to you son! Was this for ED or RD? My daughter applied to the film production RD and we are still waiting on decision.
early March for FA/ scholarships
Early March for merit scholarships too? I assume Rutgers isn’t very generous for in-state applicants?
Very frugal for in state applicants.
Yes. Usually first week of March
It was RD I think.
update… waitlist
Waitlisted SAS
Waitlisted🤦🏼♀️
Which schools in Rutgers were you three waitlisted from. All my sons applications still say deferred.
rutgers business school
Cant decide now if I should enroll to NB Arts and Sciences and just wait to get off the waitlist for RBS when I’ve committed, or wait a few months… Is it hard to move from school to school like that?
My daughter 2 years didn’t get into RBS. She committed to NB SAS and worked hard and transferred into RBS after her first year. You can commit to NB SAS then change if you get in. Best of luck.
Admitted SAS (after deferral)
During one of the RBS virtual presentations they said you can stay in contact with an advisor from the business school to make sure you are taking the proper classes while enrolled in SAS. They made it seem like it was very common to do that.
I got deferred, but my decision hasn’t come back yet. Does that mean im rejected probably?
1510 SAT, 92.7w, 13 honors 2 AP 3 DE classes, decent essay good EC’s instate legacy… waitlisted. The ■■■■???
