Rutgers Engineering EA - still waiting

<p>I feel like I am the last Early Action applicant without a decision. My status has been "in process" since Nov 8th. Now I am competing with the regular decision applicant pool. I'm very frustrated as many of my classmates with similar stats heard between 3 days and 3 weeks. I have the feeling there is a technical glitch but when I called they said you just have to wait.</p>

<p>I got accepted to Newark but still waiting for NB Engineering.</p>

<p>Anyone else still waiting who applied Early Action?</p>

<p>I applied Regular Action (11/28) and heard back on 12/15 to NB Engineering. Usually, the amount of time it takes for a decision to be made depends on your stats. It’s all pretty random imo.</p>

<p>You are not the only one…My nephew applied early action and he is still in progress. They accept people with higher stats and go down. If your stats are not that great, they will wait until they review all the applicants first. Be patient, your turn should come soon.</p>

<p>DS applied EA to three colleges at Rutgers about 11/1. Heard back from the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences in under a week but it still waiting on the Business and Engineering Schools.</p>

<p>They usually want the highest of stats. Once students give their seat up, they will go down the list. </p>

<p>When i was accepted, only 800 students were accepted. (2010)</p>
