@manbun if you truly can not wait anymore, as you stated, then your best course of action would be to withdraw your application.
@manbun don’t worry their website said they will come out till February 28th so we have a long tim to wait. Try not thinking about it till you get closer to the deadline.
I’m only checking to see if anybody else got an update haha
hey, I applied for EA. I am worrying because it is my first choice school and no @CollegeCO2020 I am not withdrawing my application.
Any words from rutgers for scholarships??
guys I know you dont know any solid answers of when the admissions come out but I applied in November for EA and this is my #1 choice of college. It’s kind of frustrating so long and every day I feel stressed even know I know I can do nothing about it now. I got a 1800 on my SAT and a 3 GPA UW with 4 seasons of Track and XC and 2 seasons being the captain. Im confident I can get in because I know so many others with worse resume’s who got in. But it is still stressful to not be in yet. Is there any estimating on when I will be notified? Is it rolling at this point? Or when is the next batch coming out approx? And do I have a good chance of getting in?
Is there any estimating when you will be notified? Not by anyone here.
Is it rolling at this point. Yes. Has always been.
When is the next batch coming out? No one here knows. Anyone who claims to know works for admissions or is lying.
Do you have a good chance? Same question asked a zillion times. If someone says no, will you be offended? If someone says yes - and you are rejected - isn’t that bad? Honestly, I would not want to guess wrong.
My advice. Stop asking. Good things come to those who wait. Good luck.
@anakinkami unless you applied November 1, if you applied in November, you didn’t qualify for the EA deadline and are not guaranteed a decision until the end of February.
@manbun if you read through the 300-plus comments on this thread, you will surely find someone else in your situation, but the fact that you fail to realize that you are not alone in your situation suggests to me that you are extremely self-centered. That, coupled with your obvious anxiety issue is cause for concern. Personally, I applied in August and still have not received a decision. Also, I don’t understand why you applied to your number one school the day before the regular decision deadline.
Lol everyone needs to calm down on this thread. Everything happens for the best and hopefully we will all hear decisions soon
@lawilt me too!
For anyone wondering about NB Honors College, they just told me that they’ll send out acceptance letters via email in “a few weeks” so I’d assume that means late January.
Did everyone receive the welcome package? I applied EA and I just received the package yesterday.
@BePositive65 I’ve been admitted but haven’t pressed the “Accept” button yet. I have not received the welcome package.
Does Rutgers send the welcome package only to people who have committed to Rutgers?
No everyone gets it. I was accepted on December 15 and just go it today. I have not committed yet.
For anyone still waiting for EA I just checked my portal this morning at 7 am and my decision was up. I applied EA. I haven’t gotten an email yet to check my portal though.
.
Anyone hear scholarship info yet?
I know I already asked thousand questions here
But I have one more about my application because I submitted electronic application on 10/22
They sent me email that they got my SAT score on November something
Do do i consider as EA or just regular deicison?
@kijihi if I’m not mistaken, it has been pointed out to you here that since you did not apply by November 1, you did not make early action. I’m not sure what anyone else here can do for you, but asking over and over will not help you.
Sorry, but that is not correct. Look at the Rutgers web site. It says:
- Required credentials are due two weeks later than the Application Due Date.
So, if application received by 11/1, and supporting info (like SAT scores) received by 11/15, application still falls under Early Action.
