The date has not changed in this case. It is the date they received the transcript which was the final piece of the application.
Hey guys. Also applied as early action. My SAT score is an average but my GPA is a stretch. SAT score 1870 and GPA of 3.3… Will I be able to get in? Applied at NB. Little worried, so Im taking my SAT again in Jan to raise my score to at least 2000 so if I don’t get in I can try again…
What colleges are you appying to within rutgers
You should be okay for sas if you are instate
Your chances for engineering and business arent so good as ure gpa and sat are below average for those 2 schools
If you want a chance at engineering, def retake the sat and try for 2100+ to make up for that gpa

My Mom’s friend in admissions just got back to her. They havent even begun reviewing apps yet. She said they should within the next 2-3 weeks, so we’ll begin getting decisions then.

I had went for a FAFSA meeting at Rutgers and the main admissions officer was there. It has been confirmed that any response from any New Brunswick committees will only be decided on December 15th. No decisions will be made before that date for New Brunswick schools.
@jj1791 Do you mean that all EA applicants will receive a decision on the 15th? Or they’ll roll out decisions in waves starting the 15th?
@jj1791 Did the admissions person mention whether merit aid would come out the same time as admission decisions? I know in the past merit aid has come out later than the admissions decisions but the admissions decisions used to come out a lot earlier in prior years.
Has anyone heard yet from Rutgers New Brunswick yet? Just curious if anything changed since the last post on December 7th -
Isn’t it reasonable to infer that if no one has posted here in several days, then no one has heard yet? Once people start to hear from New Brunswick, this forum will be flooded with posts so stating.
Hey i’m new to this thread. still hopeful and waiting like the rest of you guys [-O< can anyone weigh my chances? my sat is average (a 1940) and my gpa is pretty low, a 3.3 uw. I’m in-state and from a fairly competitive school. Do you think I have a chance for New Brunswick SAS, business, or SEBS? thanks in advance
@omgcollegee you should get in to at least one. GPA is a little low but in-state you’re probably good to go.

SAT: 1600 (i know it’s low) reading: 460 math:620 writing:520
@manbun Your don’t have a 0% chance at SAS and SEBS, but don’t have hopes too high. There’s always a chance for those schools. In the case of engineering I really don’t so. I have heard of people who have gotten in with 1600-1700, but with good gpas. Of course you know the sat is low, but your stats might just be barely enough to get you into SAS or SEBS NB.

It’s so frustrating that their website just says online decision will be made by January 31st, 2016 so it can be whenever within that time frame
