@3xploit they might (emphasis on might) be posted tmrw… Someone on the thread had mentioned that decisions would be posted starting around Dec. 15th - so fingers crossed!

There is one sure way to know when Rutgers New Brunswick is starting to release decisions. This forum will be flooded with posts. All of the speculation in the world won’t affect the timing of decisions.
For financial aid, what if my transcript is late by a day or so. Will this make me ineligible for financial aid?
I heard Rutgers has the rolling admission… I applied Rutgers NB on first week of November and I still don’t get the decision.
@kijihi dont worry. NB hasn’t released anything except for the people with ridiculously high stats. I applied October 13th and still haven’t gotten a decision so im still waiting to.
My son has ridiculously high stats and hasn’t heard from NB. He applied in mid-SEPT!

I think NB hasn’t released much yet.
Two years ago, my son applied EA to NB in mid-October and received an acceptance less than two weeks later. At the time, I believe that Rutgers NB had the same notification deadline that they have now - the end of Jan.
This year, my daughter applied EA to NB in late October and hasn’t heard anything yet. Both of my kids have similar grades/ECs, so I don’t think that has anything to do with it.
Obviously, Rutgers NB has changed their admissions procedure/timing. I suppose they might be trying to increase their yield somehow, but it seems to me they are running the risk of losing applicants that got earlier EA notifications somewhere else.
My friend told me that it will be released today, but I haven’t heard anything back yet… Anyone know what time they start releasing the admission…? Also, if anyone heard back from Rutgers, please let me know! thanks!!
@ekdad212 - my D applied in the beginning of September and nary a word. She has great stats, has already been accepted to two great schools and is antsy to commit. Rutgers was her first choice initially, but now she’s leaning elsewhere partially because she’s heard nothing. Of most concern to me is the fact that she runs the risk of losing good housing at one of her other options if she waits much longer on Rutgers.
I heard from one of my friends that they were delaying decisions until January 23rd. I don’t know if this is true but his mom works with admissions… So I would assume that she’d know.
This has to be the most annoying thread I’ve ever seen. For the love of God people, relax. Please. I can hear your hair turning gray. This is a bunch of people who know nothing about the topic at hand speculating about the topic at hand and then asking questions to other people as if they are actual authorities on the topic at hand, when in fact, they aren’t. It’s getting ridiculous. The decisions will be released for Early Action applicants by January 31. That’s it. So here’s what this thread should be used for: post when you get in so other people know that they should check their statuses. Stop worrying about something that you have no control over and no way of knowing anything about until it happens.

Agree 100 percent with CollegeCO. Don’t bother asking. When NB starts to release decisions, this forum will be flooded with posts. We have heard “the conference call said by December 1”'and “friend in admissions said December 15.” No one here knows squat. Everyone has a source. None reliable. Enjoy the holidays.
