@hamstargaming I doubt they give preference to in-state applications. Depending on how many credits you currently have, they may consider your high school credentials, but either way you will do just fine! Don’t worry 
I’ve been anxious lately because I applied EA but haven’t yet recieved response on my status page.
I applied to NB School of Nursing and my stats are JUST below the middle 50% for that major.
But my main concern is that I paid the application fee late because it was the first college I was applying to that wasn’t theough CommonApp so it just completely slipped my mind until it showed up on my status page.
Even if I paid late, do you think they would still consider my app EA (get my decision by Jan 31)?
asked Rutgers admissions what the date change mean’t and this is what they said back, “The date on the Rutgers Status Screen is just the date which something was last updated on your application file. Sometimes it is just coding behind the scenes so this date doesn’t really reflect anything in particular.”

@nikolateslaxi I dont remember the date, but I got a confirmation email nov 15th meaning if that email was autoreply, that was the day I paid. A day after 2 weeks. RIP

5 days left for EA. Can today PLEASE be the day. I just want to know. I think I know already but I need to see it to move on
@hamstargaming not yet. I actually attended a Rutgers NB information session today for transfers and the woman said they haven’t started considering transfers yet and that they will by the end of the month or the beginning of February. The waiting game will stink but at least now I won’t be anxiously checking constantly (let’s be real, I still will be ).
As for stats, I’m at Brookdale CC with 51 credits, will have my AA by the time I transfer and have a 4.0 right now. 14 of my credits are AP credit for Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and French. I’m also a volunteer firefighter (joined my dept. in 2010). I only applied to NB SAS.
Applied Jan.8th as a transfer to SAS and RBS both New brunswick. Applied with 45 credits and 3.96 GPA from an NJ CC and will have my associates by the end of the spring semester. My application for both schools is still in process.

My date just changed to 1/25/18 what does this mean im so anxious, anyone else get the same ?

Hey i finally made an acc ! Still waiting to hear back from EMSOP. My date says 1/19, not sure if it means anything… stats are 1430 / 97 GPA but my essay sucks and my extracurriculars are pretty standard so idk
Is it a bad sign if my date didn’t change? It’s always been 11/29/2017
@htpsac you are in luck because like most large state universities Rutgers is all about the grade and test score algorithm. Not to say that essay and EC’s don’t count AT ALL, but certainly not to the degree they would count at a smaller private college.
