Anyone knows how to find status on Scholarship and honors program?
Hey guys how’s it going. Anyone got their decisions yet?? What about you transfers? You all stopped posting suddenly. Have you all been accepted? I was just curious because some transfers got their decisions in a day after applying… strange right??
@ToBeGrad Rutgers will send an email to invite the student to enroll as an honors students. The email includes a link to the “honors portal” where you can view the honors offer. My son applied last year and received the invitation on 1/25/17–I believe it will come out this week.
@hamstargaming hi! i’m a transfer but i’ve just been waiting for my decision. i applied on the 23rd so i’m not expecting my decision to come out that quick.
@indierach I applied around the same time. I hope we hear back soon. One of the guys on here heard back the day after he applied. I hope rutgers informs us by the end of this week or the next…

Got accepted to Rutgers Newark Arts and Sciences. 2.988 GPA. Full time jobs throughout college, a good essay, and a couple ECs. Waiting on SAS. fingers crossed although my gpa is low.

@ToBeGrad According to a response submitted by someone at Rutgers NB admissions on GoRutgers, HC/HP notifications are to be released tomorrow and FA info (which I assume includes scholarship info) will be released by this Friday.
Applied RD on 11/9. All documentation received on 11/27. The portal recently changed to all required credentials received through 2/1/18. Hoping to receive an answer soon.
@indierach @Tranferguy2018 What are your statsand are you guys transferring after your first year? I think Rutgers is only gonna look at my first semester grades since I’m a freshmen who’s transferring from Virginia.
P.S what college are you guys transferrring from?
I applied transfer 01/13/18 and have’nt heard back. I don’t think I’ll get in, but if I do I can’t pay for it lol. Still, I just wanted to try :(. I have a 3.73 and an associate and a 3.63 from another school.

UPDATE: I got accepted to Rutgers Newark SAS RD. I checked yesterday and nothing. I checked right now and I wad admitted.
Still waiting on Rutgers NB …

my stats are 3.5 GPA, 1150 SAT
essay is pretty good
EC: President of the youth club at my church for three consecutive years, volunteer work with local organizations, and a part-time job at a law office
In terms of my course load, it’s pretty light as I have taken 6 honors courses, only 1 AP, and 2 courses at a local community college through a program run by my high school
I think it’s a bit of a reach but I would still like to get in
