Website says they’ve started and that you’d get an email when it’s ready. I’m able to log in but the dropdowns aren’t populated yet with the school(s) so I assume it hasn’t gotten to me yet.
@YoungOne4
From Jennifer Hollis on Go Rutgers:
“from what I heard this morning most likely this afternoon or early evening for FAFSA filers who filed by December 1 and tomorrow for non-FAFSA filers who are being offered a scholarship. FAFSA filers who filed after December 1 would be on a rolling basis”
About an hour ago, I received confirmation from her directly on GoRutgers that FA notifications would proceed for tonight.
@schadret What is the login website? Link please.
Thanks, @Schradret and @MrElonMusk.
Go here https://financialaid.rutgers.edu/information-for-future-rutgers-students/incoming-student-portal/ then “View your Award Letter” in upper right (or down in middle, they go to same place)
More indications that FA will be released tonight: On https://financialaid.rutgers.edu/information-for-future-rutgers-students/incoming-student-portal/ the “View Award Letter” button was labelled as “unavailable” just a few hours ago.
Thanks @Schadret - I logged in, but all I got was 2017-2018 financial aid award which 1) makes no sense and 2) was empty.
The login screen says “Status as of Thursday, February 8, 2018”
Thanks @Schradet. It’s cool we can now get into the next screen. Mine currently only shows data as of Thursday, February 8, with 2017/2018, and “select a school.”
Mine keeps saying, there seems to be a problem with incorrect credentials. Anyone else?
@pbmcdoug Are you using the right RUID, Birthday (with slashes), and social eecurity number?
Yes! I do not think I filed FAFSA with Rutgers, so that is probably it.
Is it still possible to get merit aid without filing FAFSA?
@pbmcdoug It’s possible. You should file your FAFSA asap.
I filed it with 9 others schools I have applied to. RU was a late application, so I must have forgotten. I don’t think I will end up there unless there is a random scholarship haha
The RU Financial Aid Office just posted an update a few minutes ago: “We have started sending 2018-2019 Award Letter notifications. When your Award Letter is ready to view online, you will receive an email.”
Keep an eye on your inboxes everybody!
@lazerbeams99 Yes, this is shown at https://financialaid.rutgers.edu/information-for-future-rutgers-students/incoming-student-portal/
Mine still says 2017-2018 and isn’t showing any schools
Me too. When I press “select a school” no schools show up. However, I haven’t received the email that they said they were going to send yet, so.
DItto. No email yet, and mine still says 2017/2018, etc.
I don’t get what is wrong with mine. I entered my RUID, date of birth, and SSN but it says my credentials are wrong. I have verified that they are correct.
