<p>So far my college application process is going worse then accepted. First I get rejected by PSU, and now I have yet to hear from Rutgers. Seems like students from my school are hearing left and right from Rutgers. Anyone else have this problem?</p>

<p>hmmm I applied the day before the priority deadline too and heard back in like a week and a half.. although I did have slightly higher stats and I'm OOS (that might have sped things up I guess)</p>
<p>just to let you know..my daughter, with similar stats, higher sat but not wildly so, heard within a month. her friend - 3rd or 4th in big class, AP classes, great EC applied in Oct. and didn't hear til this month.
Who knows? maybe the department chosen, the assigned reader?
both were accepted</p>

<p>Well I got rejected by University Park...But accepted to Abingont (I still wonder to this day Why i picked Abington....Stupid mistake I think).</p>

<p>If you still have not heard you might consider calling to ask if they have all the correct paperwork and if it is in process. What does it say on the website?<br>
I assume you have been checking there? Keep in mind "everyone" applied around the same priority deadline.
If you are getting too worried go to an open admissions day at Paterson, Ramapo (getting harder to get into) Rowan, Montclair state. That way you know immediately if you have a good school for a safety.</p>
<p>Definitely check your online status page to make sure they received all your info. My son just received his acceptance packet today and he applied 12/1, I think (1500/2300 SATs, top 2% of class). His HS had to resend his transcript 2 or 3 times - RU kept saying it was missing.</p>

<p>But I did have good ECs, which helped.</p>
<p>I have similar stats, slightly lower SATs and I got my letter today. I applied like two days before the priority deadline (I actually wasn't going to apply, but I'm really glad I did b/c there's a good chance that I'm going there).</p>

<p>Did you pay to have your SATs sent? You need to ask college board to send them.</p>
<p>And don't 'rush' the report, it's a waste of money.</p>
<p>Yeah I have payed them. Rutgers has recieved everything on Dec. 18. Therefore they haven't updated anything online from Dec. 18th. I am just wondering if this means a clear rejection, or they have no checked my application yet? People with similar, and worse stats then me, have already gotten in.</p>

<p>I don't think you are rejected, they would have told you by now. They may request more infomation from you. I.E. mid year grades.</p>
