Rutgers Honor College Chances?

Do I have a chance at being admitted to the Rutgers Honors College? I ask this because I am an “international student” (lived in US for 14 years) and being admitted to this program is pretty much my only shot at making Rutgers affordable (talked to a Rutgers Representative, they said Honors college would be able to pay 80% of tuition if selected). I was already admitted to the SAS - New Brunswick and Newark (plan to major in Cell Bio/Neuro).

Any advice is appreciated, I really really want to go to Rutgers because they do have a really good Pre-med. Thank you all.

Essay:

  • Very, very good and extremely moving. 10/10

Very impressive! I know students with similar SAT, GPA and APs who were invited to Rutgers Honors College last year. They were NJ residents and US born citizens though. I don’t know how Rutgers treats “international students” in regards to Honors College. You’ll have to wait a few more weeks to find out. Good luck!

@“C&KsMom” Thanks! I really hope I can be one of the 2% accepted. Someone last year from my high school got in with a 1410 and some small extracurriculars, so I am a little confused on how these decisions go.
