Is applying to the Rutgers New Brunswick honors college worth in terms of being an engineering major? How much scholarship is given? What are the benefits?

Great question. I have not looked at Rutgers Honors College benefits since Covid hit so I am a bit out of touch. Broadly speaking, engineering majors benefit less from honors colleges than do other students due to the demanding requirements of engineering majors.
Look for scholarship money, priority course registration, and special housing offered by any honors college to assess whether or not it will be worthwhile for you.
