So, this morning I received an Email from Rutgers saying "congratulations: welcome to the rutgers family, a mail packet will be arriving but we couldn't wait to tell you -- check your status for placement details..."

So I went on to my Rutgers Status thing thinking I had just been accepted academically or to just a general studies program. But on my status it says I was accepted to Mason Gross - enrollment availability = open? I have no idea what this means.

Since it doesn't say specifically that i was accepted to the acting program I am a little confused... Although, that is the ONLY program and school i applied to, and I stated that it was my ONLY interest.

Any thoughts? I am unfamiliar with how Rutgers usually notifies accepted students to Mason Gross... I was expecting a phone call or email directly from the program... I donno. Any info helps! It is exciting though! First school I heard from and am relaxed to know I can at least GO to college next year... even it is just for gen eds.

If I remember correctly last year my daughter's status went "pending talent assessment" to accepted "Mason Gross". So I would say you are in! Congratulations!

Is everyone accepted at the same time to Mason Gross? My D's status still says "pending talent" Does that mean she's rejected, or do they make decisions at different times?

ok…i never checked my status until this morning, but it says i’ve been admitted to mason gross…obviously it doesn’t say which program though…
haha…nice surprise, but that’s because i’m thinking it means bfa acting?
i know they have a ba theatre degree though…do you think this means acting for me? I only remember applying for that.
