Heres a bit about me:
I am a white male and I go to not-too competitive public school.

GPA= 3.12 UW with mostly honors and the rest college prep classes (Most of my school takes normal non-cp classes)
SAT= 1820/2400 or 1240/1600 on SAT. I am almost positive I can get higher on my sat if need be.
Class Rank= As of now I am 65 out of 223
I was in 2 years chess club, 2 years basketball club, 2 years of math league, 2 years of DECA (placed 3rd twice), plenty of community service, I work full time for the summer (part time during school) at a special education school via internship, three years of a language, four years of science and math.

Think I will get in? Any chance of a scholarship? Any other decent schools around NJ that I have a shot at?

I appreciate any answers.

in... no scholarship though...

also try Seton hall and Rowan

yeah i was also thinking about rowan too, should I worry about getting into rutgers? I will probably up my gpa to maybe 3.2-3.3 but should I retake my sat's or are they good enough?

anyone got any insite?

i would say you are in rutgers nb - most definitely in at rutgers newark if you want to apply there as well. seton hall is a good option for your scores as well as rowan - those could be safety schools for you. other schools in new jersey you could look into - richard stockton college of new jersey and fairleigh dickinson: college at florham

i would bring my gpa as much as i can for rutgers. it gets more competitive every year. good luck!

oh - i forgot a school. ramapo college of new jersey. the campus absolutely fantastic. the dorms are like hotel rooms. it's a smaller public school with about 6,000 undergrads. it's about 45 minutes away from nyc - near upstate new york.

Hi Slash.

If you're looking at private colleges, consider Drew in Madison as well. They're pretty good with aid. If you're looking at FDU in Florham Park, it's lust a mile or so down the road. Another decent school in NJ would be Rider in Lawrenceville.

Good luck!
