Are you given the option of a different major if you aren’t accepted to the one you applied to? I know with Ohio State, if you don’t get into your major you can be placed into University Exploration. When doing the application I only selected my chosen major thinking they would offer me something similar to OSU.
@jakeybake Most majors are selected at the end of your sophomore year. You will be considered for the specific school you list on the Rutgers’ application, not the individual major. I believe they have you select a particular major for the purposes of enrollment management.
Congrats to other student acceptances @ RU! Any SAS students? I’m all for the Poli Sci route.

Rutgers has sent a Rutgers GO Invite for those who have been accepted. Its an awesome site where all questions are answered regarding Housing, Scholarships etc by the Rutgers Staff. Has anyone signed up yet? I have.

@spqr70nj Personally, I received a separate email from the RU Office of Undergraduate Admissions that introduces Go Rutgers.
Interesting. The only email received was the one with the fireworks that indicated to check the status site. So far admitted to SAS, but still waiting for the College of Engineering and the Business School.
@spqr70nj You should try to register at the site and see if you can get on the Rutger GO bandwagon.
