Any insights, suggestions, opinions(pros and cons) regarding these Honors Colleges would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Rutgers(New Brunswick) Honors College vs NJIT Honors College for Computer Science/ Engineering Major
Did you hear from Rutgers?
NJIT Honors College is one of the best in the country, according to multiple websites. I’ve been doing a lot of research about USC Honors College and NJIT keeps popping up, so I just thought I would mention it.
NJIT has a superb computer science program, and also a stellar honors college.

P.S This is a Rutgers forum so I think this is the wrong place to ask this.
The ONLY way to be able to answer that question is to first define what is a PRO for you?
Cost? FINAL COA not posted cost as I k now of a few that have been offered $$$$$$ for both!
Ease of getting in (Dorman’s is easier than Honors College at Rutgers NB… though Camden is easier)
Most important: What academics? Pure CS, Business flavor…???
I went to both, I was a Rutgers Honors Program student years ago (they didn’t have Honors College then) and took classes next door at NJIT. Both have GREAT programs, NJIT was better in AI, Rutgers in Business and I judged who was better by the companies I wanted to get jobs from, not my personal opinion.
Talk to current students (CURRENT not just posters like me), both schools will be more than happy to connect you or your Son/Daughter!
