Ok so I’ve committed to Rutgers engineering and I found out I have to take a placement test to place into calc 1, but do I only have to take math level 2 for engineering? Also what is specifically on that test, really more or less in trigonometry? Trig proofs? Trig identities? Trig equations? Trig graphs? Unit circle?

You should expect the math placement test to cover all topics from high school math, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, functions, exponents, logarithms, etc… The intent is to check how well prepared you are to take calculus.
Here are some placement tests used by other schools. They may or may not be similar in format to what Rutgers uses, but you can try them to see which math topics you should review.
