Rutgers New Brunswick Transfer (2018)

This may or may not be a long post. But basically because of family reasons I have to move back to New Jersey. I’m currently in an out-of-state school in VA (Virginia Commonwealth University) with a 2.7 GPA. I screwed up pretty bad because of these family reasons, which explains my sucky GPA. I want to transfer by Fall Junior year. I personally feel that Junior year spring is just too late. If I apply with my 2.7 GPA what are my chances of getting in? I want to go to SAS in Rutgers New Brunswick.
My major is Biology. Besides my sucky GPA, I do a lot of activities! (if that even helps) I volunteer at the medical center at VCU, I’m secretary for 2 clubs and volunteering chair for UNICEF at VCU. I’m part of a dance team and a writer for ‘Her Campus’ at VCU. I do service trips for Rotary Club in India every alternate summers. Basically, I’m super into volunteering and I love love doing it.
I’m also worried about credits transferring because I heard RU can be pretty stubborn about it. AS you can see, I’m pretty desperate to know so if there’s any tips and tricks, from a dreading college student to another, let me know!

@gp0909 were u accepted???
