Rutgers New Brunswick vs. University of Arizona for business undergrad???

having a hard time deciding which school is the better option in terms of post graduation success…advice anyone??

Where do you live?
Where do you want to work after college?
Rutgers NB has easy access to NYC for internships.

rutgers is my state school but arizona is my second home
I know RU has easier access to NYC jobs but I would like to know if its possible to get a job in the east coast if I go to Arizona for school. I do plan on going to either grad or law school as well.

What’s your net price* at each and what’s your parents’ budget? Do you have other choices?

*net price = (tuition+room+board+fees) - (grants+scholarships)

Honestly, Rutgers is a better school academically, but Arizona will give you a better experience. It’s all down to preference and value.

@MYOS1634 my net price at both is approximately the same. arizona would just be a bit more when I choose to come home. my other choice is drexel university and penn state.

@LBad96 what do you mean by “a better experience”? do you mean academically or socially

Rutgers is better academically but most NJ kids want anything but stay in NJ and Arizona would definitely be a change of scenery. The outcomes rest on YOU : do you interact with the career center starring freshman year ? Do you use all the resources at your disposal - writing center, office hours, tutors , library, as well as clubs and leadership opportunities ? Do you show persistence when you encounter a problem ? Do you have a 4-year plan… As well as a plan B and the flexibility to adjust that plan when you need to ? (and… Do you have the self awareness to distinguish between times you need to use persistence and times when you need to be flexible ? )

I assume Penn State is too expensive.
Drexel is typically overpriced.
