Rutgers Newark or Rutgers New Brunswick for Criminal Justice?

Hello guys,
I got accepted into RU newark and RU new brunswick and I just wanted to know which RU is the best to study a criminal justice program. I actually live 30-45 mins away from New Brunswick. I know that RU Newark has a school of criminal justice and RU NB doesn't. However alot of people say RU NB is best campus to attend to, but they don't say anything about the criminal justice program. I just need some advices which school would be the best for my program so i can make a decision. Please help! Thanks!

Hey, I’m having that problem as well.

I would talk to someone in the CJ program…looking on this page it would seem there is a CJ program at NB.

What did you guys decide?

I know i’m years late but I got into both programs I’m actually making this same decision. and also looking between Penn State Abington and University of Maryland.

University of Maryland has the best CRIMINOLOGY program in the country - and that’s an in demand field, especially if you can minor in statistics.
Criminal Justice isn’t so hot - low ROI. It’s better to graduate with a “traditional” major - sociology or psychology perhaps, with as many internships as you can get.
But if you’re dead set on CJ and won’t look at Criminology… New Brunswick’s better.
