In the Fall 2006 I was accepted and I attended Rutgers Newark where I did not do well; I had a 1.296 GPA upon my exit from the university and my dean at Rutgers Newark recommended for me to attend a CC which I did and now I am going to have a 3.8 with about 45 credits. My 1.296 GPA was related to a health issue, so if I mention that in my essay, do you think that I would have a chance to get into Rutgers New Brunswick SAS (Economics) or Rutgers New Brunswick Business School? If I am only admitted to Camden and Newark, I will not attend the university because I attended RU Newark and to be quite honest that campus was not for me. Please let me know if you think that I have a chance of getting into Rutgers NB, my other choices are Fordham, Montclair, St. John's, & Seton Hall.

Also, my brother and I are starting a non profit 2 hand touch football league for my Church, I do participate in non profit work from time to time at my Church, I am a entrepreneur, and I work at the bank.

Why wasn’t Rutgers Newark for you? Your GPA is pretty good so you may have a shot at SAS.

Newark is low income and it is dangerous and I used to take the bus a lot and I had to take the bus from Broad St. in Newark at about 10 PM and I really did not like it.

JakeSill thank you for your post, if I could get more feedback that would be great.

So i go to msu rn and i was thinking of transferring to rutgers newark. I was a biology major at Msu but I realized i suck at biology (i dropped the course) and chem but im good at english and math, but im changing my major to pre law now. What are my chances of getting accepted to Rutgers despite this?
