rutgers or boston college?? i dont knowww.

are you in the honors program for rutgers? does money matter?

You have to give us more than that... what are you interested in, etc.

no honors program.

i was thinking of majoring in biology and pre-med and going to medical school.

BC itself is a better college and usnews ranked it with NYU, but it's farther and rutgers is in- state tuition for me, but my parents will send me to wherever they think I can get into the best medical school from

so where would i get the better studies environment-wise, people-wise and opportunity-wise

I'm a pre-med student at rutgers majoring in biochemistry and philosophy. there are tons of opportunities here because it's a large school-- there are more faculty, events, organizations and classes and there is more research going on. I've been involved in a research lab for a year now and I'm a sophomore. Getting into medical school depends mainly on how well you do in college-- your GPA, MCAT, what you get involved in. Going to harvard but doing mediocre looks worse than going to Rutgers and doing great... you should go to whatever school you think you'll be able to excel at. If you think you can do that at Rutgers, I would advise staying in state and saving your parents' money for medical school.

Go to Boston College, it has a better rep. Given that your parents have the money, it is an easy decision

But do they have the money to put you through BC and Medical school? Do they want to do that? I decided to save my money for med school. Unless you can justify paying that kind of money for undergrad with a good reason, I don't see the rationale behind "it has a better rep."

Bc has an early assurance program with tufts med school.. might want to look into that.
