I got accepted to both Ramapo college and rutgers new Brunswick.. But I just don't know which school I will like better. I'm thinking about majoring in bio or psychology. What school do you think will be a better choice. Do you think I will have a better experience at rutgers?

Rutgers has more resources and is big on research. Gov Christie is planning to bring Robert Wood Johnson Medical school to RU so it will bring more prestige to it. More classes to choose from and more things to do.

Ramapo has a beautiful campus. It is a smaller school and you will get to know your professors which will help you get better recommendations if you are planning to apply to medical schools. It might be a little harder to get research which is very important to medical school.
If medical school is not what you are aiming for, then it will not matter as long as your happy.
Just as with any decisions you make…write down the pros and cons and make your decision…Good luck!

Thank you for the advice!

rutgers is the better school by far. But It’s gonna be harder here

Which school would you prefer . SEBS or SAS?

Sorry one more question. Do you think it’s hard to focus with larger classes?

I would pick SAS if you are a premed, dental. Most of SEBS students are going for animal or plants related stuff. In my opinion the class size doesn’t really matter if you sit very close to the front.

I was in the same boat, I chose Ramapo over SAS but I would’ve gone with RBS instead. If I were in your position I’d probably go with Rutgers, as research/resources/better name will probably help you find a job after school, which can be tough for those majors.
